This beautiful handcrafted tool will make the perfect gift for anyone who loves to get out in the garden. Forged completely from 1040 grade medium tensile steel. There are no rivets to work loose or welds to fail. This tool has been made for strength, hand forged from one solid piece of good quality steel, the tang runs the full length of the handle. The wooden handle has been turned from Ash and is firmly bonded to the tang. The cultivator sits comfortably in the hand and is a pleasure to use. It is ideally suited for quick hand weeding of large areas yet nimble enough to work around established plants. It has a good reach to get to the back of the garden or those hard to reach places. The broad blade forged on the tines is great at grabbing the weeds and tearing them out by the roots. This cultivator will quickly become you favorite go to tool.

Or you put some extra effort into prying a stubborn weed from its foothold only to feel the fork bend under the load? It will never happen with this fork. We make our forks from 1040 Medium Tensile Steel. They are forged from one piece of solid steel and carefully hardened and tempered using age old techniques to bring out the most durable properties in the steel. There are no rivets to work loose or welds to fail. This tool has been made for strength, forged from one solid piece of good quality steel, the tang runs the full length of the handle. The wooden handle has been turned from carefully selected New Zealand Ash and is firmly bonded to the tang. The fork sits comfortably in the hand and is a pleasure to use. Hand Trowel

This gardening tool has been hand forged at my Motueka forge. It is made from high tensile steel. The tang passes right through the centre of the handle making this a very sturdy tool that will last a lifetime. Because these tools are handmade they will vary slightly in appearance. Each one has visible hammer marks giving an insight into the effort that is required to make this beautiful hand-tool. The blade is 150 mm long x 65 - 70 mm wide. The handle is 150 mm long.
